Fabric Requirements

  • 1 layer cake or 78 assorted fabrics for 7½ x 4 inch rectangles
  • 2⅝ yards for backgrounds on geese strips
  • 2 yards for vine backgrounds
  • 320 inches of ¾ inch finished bias (22 inch square)
  • fat quarter each of 3 for leaves and pumpkin stems and markings
  • fat quarter each of 4 for pumpkins and berries
  • fat eighth for pumpkin center
  • fat eighth each of 3 for stars
  • ¼ yard 3 for bottom stop border
  • ½ yard for top, right and left stop borders
  • 1 yard for floral borders
  • 1¼ yard for plaid borders
  • ⅔ yards for binding
  • ⅔ yards for binding

All strips and borders are pieced
