Welcome to Pappy's Quilting Place. We hope you visit often.

Mandie and Shelby Edwards
My name is Shelby Edwards. My daughter, Mandy, and I purchased the store on August 24, 2010. It has been my dream for many years to own a quilt shop and when this became available, all things just fell into place. I have been a quilter for 20 years. Mandy is a much younger quilter but has the same enthusiasm about quilting as I do.

Fred Davis
We are a family business. My brother, Fred Davis, is the voice of reason when it comes to spending money.  We could not do this without him. He is retired from the trucking and sales industry. We are going to make a quilter out of him. We all know men make great quilters.

Sassy Foster

Next we have my best friend, Sassy Foster.  She has been a quilter for 20 years, who loves handwork. She is here for me when I need her. She is a must have. She manages the store while I do taxes.  Sassy also teaches quilting classes.

Sue Treadway
Sue Treadway, better known around here as Sue Who, came with the shop. And I thank goodness she did. She knew customers and where things were when we took over. Another one I could not do this without.

Michelle Graves
Michelle Graves is our newest employee. She was a customer in the store when I was that the tax office. Sassy hired her and she is a true asset to the operation. She is also a quilter.

Julie Shelby is my cousin who works with us part time. She is a great help. I am so happy to have another member of my real family join out Pappy's family.

Julie Niles
Julie Niles, one of our teachers, is a part time employee and long time quilter who does beautiful work. She teaches how to make bed quilts, purses, jackets and wall hangings.

This group of people is what makes Pappy's work. Their efforts and commitment to our quilt shop makes a wonderful Pappy's family. We hope you will join us.
