The first six months - the buck-a-block are the center blocks.  The stars surrounding the blocks, sashing, borders, backing and binding are sold separate.

Purchase a pack of Thangles for $5.00 and your block for $1.00. Each month you will receive your block for $1.00. This includes the monthly blocks only – does not include the setting fabrics, backing or binding.

These are pieced blocks.

Rules:

• Limit one block per customer at $1.00. Additional blocks may be purchased at $3.00 each. There is no limit to the number of additional blocks you may purchase.

• Blocks are not available until the first of each month.

• If you miss a month, you must purchase the missed block for $3.00 to resume the program.

• You may only pick up your own blocks.

Pappy's Happy 20 Block of the Month

This year we are using the following "book:"

Ladies’ Art Company Block Tool: • 160+ Rotary-Cut Blocks • Rediscovered Gems & Cherished Favorites • From America’s First Mail-Order Pattern Company

Our fabric will be civil war lines.  Here are the rules:

1.  Purchase the "book" - Ladies' Art Company Block Tool for $16.95.  No exceptions, you must buy the book, no sharing.  If you already have the book, give it for a gift.

2.  Purchase the first block for $5.00 - by the end of January, 2008.  This club is limited to the first 20 people.  Limit one block per person.

3.  You must bring your finished block to the store to pick up the next block, i.e., bring your finished January block in after February 1 to pick up your February block.    If you do not bring in your finished block or go past the end of the month, makeup blocks are $5 each.  We will only keep blocks for 2 months (example - beginning March 1, the kits for January's block will go on the shelf and will no longer be available, April 1, February's block goes on the shelf and is no longer available.)

4.  Pick up your own block - no picking up for others - no exceptions. 

We chose this book because there are plenty of other blocks so you can make your quilt larger by adding more blocks.  The book also gives you different sizes for each block.
