Exciting new announcements: Beginning in 2009, the Nashville Quilt Show will become the Knoxville Quilt Show. For 3 years the show will be held in our own back yard. This is exciting news for quilters all over. Let's put on a good show for everyone. Handi Quilter News: Handi Quilter will sponsor the $10,000 Handi Quilter Best of Show Award at the International Quilt Association’s (IQA) annual fall Judged Show in October, “Quilts: A World of Beauty.” Additionally, Handi Quilter will sponsor a $3,000 Handi Quilter Wall Long-arm Quilting Award at the American Quilter’s Society (AQS) Quilt Show and Contest. In addition to the AQS sponsorship, Handi Quilter will provide HQ Sixteen™ machines in classrooms at AQS shows and expos in Paducah, Kentucky; Nashville, Tennessee; and Des Moines, Iowa.
